Thomas C. McMahon is a Principal of Starfire Renewable Energy with Segun Giwa and Jerry Dorn. Mr. McMahon possesses over 30-years development, design and construction experience in On-site Power Generation, Renewable and Waste-to-Energy Systems as well as Innovative Building Materials/Structures. As Architect and Partner in the internationally recognized Santa Barbara Firm of B3 Architects-Berkus Design Studio, Mr. McMahon was engaged in the development and integration of Advanced Construction Materials, Energy and Communication Systems in the Commercial and Residential Built Environment. These applications were often demonstrated at the National Home Builders Conference, including the demonstration of Residential Fuel Cell Technology with Strategic Partner Ford/Visteon. As Co-founder and Senior-Vice President of Powerhouse Energy Inc, a Renewable Power and Waste-to-Energy Company based in California, Mr. McMahon and Associates developed Power and Renewable Energy Solutions for Global Fortune 100 and US Fortune 500 Companies. Mr. McMahon is a California registered Architect. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture (BSArch) from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo. He has a strong background in Project Development and Marketing Communication. He has over a decade experience working on developing renewable energy projects across West Africa. Mr. Giwa, as Deputy Creative Director at Insight Grey, is credited with developing the first locally produced Sub Saharan ad campaign for PepsiCo International. As co-founder and Managing Director of Marathon Events with his affiliates Octagon, he developed and executed the Event Marketing and launch campaign for MTN in Nigeria and consulted for Multichoice/DSTV and Nigerian Breweries/Heinekens. Mr. Giwa worked as a Project Developer for Powerhouse Energy Inc in Africa for 7 years. Developing projects and contacts in Nigeria, Sierra Lone, Liberia and Zambia. He is also a Partner and Director of LWP Ltd, who develop mixed use properties across Nigeria. Mr. Giwa was educated in England, America and Nigeria and holds a BSC in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos. Mr. Dorn will direct Starfire Renewable Energy LTD (SRE) OEM, manufacturing, construction and installation activities for SRE Power, Renewable Energy and Waste-to-Energy Systems and Projects. John Maloney, JMPE, Associate - Electrical Engineering Mr. Maloney, a licensed PE, creates cost-effective, energy-efficient Power, Renewable Energy, Electrical and Lighting Design Solutions for Starfire Renewable Energy’s Projects. Mr. Maloney’s areas of expertise include electrical design of renewable energy, PV, power, lighting, and signal systems; distribution system design, short circuit analysis, coordination studies. His work has been highly recognized and distinguished; he is the recipient of the California State AIA Award of Merit for Energy Savings, a three-time winner of the Southern California Edison Design for Excellence Award and has served as the Chairperson of the prestigious State of California Electrical Engineering Technical Advisory Committee. Mr. Maloney graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in. He was awarded his Master of Science in Systems Management (MSSM) from University of Southern California (USC). Mr. Maloney served four years with the United States Air Force 4392 Civil Engineering Squadron, Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, where he designed Electrical Systems in support of the Space Shuttle and Peacekeeper Operations. |
