John Maloney, JMPE, Associate - Electrical Engineering
Mr. Maloney, a licensed PE, creates cost-effective, energy-efficient Power, Renewable Energy, Electrical and Lighting Design Solutions for SRE’s Projects. Mr. Maloney's areas of expertise include electrical design of renewable energy, PV, power, lighting, and signal systems; distribution system design, short circuit analysis, coordination studies. His work has been highly recognized and distinguished; he is the recipient of the California State AIA Award of Merit for Energy Savings, a three-time winner of the Southern California Edison Design for Excellence Award and has served as the Chairperson of the prestigious State of California Electrical Engineering Technical Advisory Committee. Mr. Maloney graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in. He was awarded his Master of Science in Systems Management (MSSM) from University of Southern California (USC). Mr. Maloney served four years with the United States Air Force 4392 Civil Engineering Squadron, Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, where he designed Electrical Systems in support of the Space Shuttle and Peacekeeper Operations. |
